This Anzac documentary shares the inspiring, emotional, and horrifying story of chaplains at Gallipoli and the Western Front. The Australian chaplains were involved in regular chores and even organised church services. The documentary centres on four Chaplains – John Fahey, William McKenzie, Walter Dexter and Andrew Gillison. Father John Fahey defied orders and stormed the beaches of Gallipoli with his men on the 25th of April 1915, and Andrew Gillison was the first Chaplain killed in action, again at Gallipoli. The film further highlights the severe toll taken on chaplains during the war and how chaplains suffered from post-traumatic stress after the war.
