Addy and Ella are teenaged step-sisters with little in common and not much of a relationship. When 17-year-old Addy loses her father and falls into a depression, the unlikely friendship between the family dog (Dally) and the pony (Spanky) she inherits from her late father brings the two sisters together while leading the way to Addy’s emotional recovery. Following her teacher’s advice, she takes on a new hobby: training Dally & Spanky for the school’s talent show. Unfortunately, Dally & Spanky’s success at the high school talent show isn’t enough to convince the family to keep Spanky as he’s too much of a financial burden. But Addy gets an idea…She submits a video of their routine to a popular TV Talent show. Now, it’s all or nothing…and ANYTHING can happen…
