The terror and mass destruction caused by ISIS in the Middle East left behind a wake of devastation and displacement. Thousands of innocent families were forced to flee for their own safety and survival. Leaving everything they had behind, men, women and children abandoned their homes and livelihoods simply to avoid the nightmare ISIS was creating.
REFUGE is the inspiring story of how the Church in the Middle East and Europe rose to the occasion in response to the hellish reality of suffering for thousands of refugees. First hand accounts from the victims will leave you in disbelief at the sheer scale and horror of the ISIS crisis. But the stories of love, hope and compassion extended by the Church triumphs over the darkness and terror of these traumatised refugees.
Filmed on location in Iraq, Lebanon, Finland and Sweden, REFUGE takes you right to the heart of the crisis and a moment of opportunity for the Church to shine its light most brightly.
