Not One Failed Promise: Studies in the Book of Joshua is the first series of sermons in the New Horizons program from Gymea Baptist Church, Sydney, presented by Rev Dr Marc Rader. This dynamic teaching series explores the faithfulness of God to his people in bringing them into the Promised Land. This is no straight-forward conquest narrative and there are several clues that point to a bigger story than the wars that are quite briefly described. Ultimately, these stories are about the struggles of God’s people to remain faithful to him and fit within the biggest story: God’s plan to restore and renew all things in Jesus. The series of sermons seeks to draw attention to the beauty of these stories as they reflect the grand plan of God. Gymea Baptist is a contemporary evangelical church in Sydney’s South.
