Men of faith serving in WW1 found themselves in the gruesome reality of War. They were tasked with the well-being and spiritual needs of the soldier. In this 4 part series we look at the courage and conviction of Military Chaplains who served in the Great War. We highlight the dedicated work of religious society's and organisation like the YMCA , Salvation Army, Scripture Gift Mission and many others. The Bible was the most widely read book by the soldiers serving and we look at the effect the Bible had in the trenches of WWI.
